Privacy Policy
Arnis.io is an independent online generator for creating Minecraft worlds from selected real-world map areas. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, which service providers help us run the service, and the choices and rights available to users in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the generator: selected map coordinates or searched locations, selected area size, generation settings, requested world format, job status, download tokens, payment status, timestamps, basic request and device information such as IP address and user agent, and any support message you choose to send. If you contact support or complete a checkout, we may process the contact or order information needed to respond, verify the order, deliver the download, or handle a refund.
Information we do not require
You do not need an Arnis.io account to generate a map. We do not ask for your Minecraft login, Mojang or Microsoft password, access to your Minecraft installation, precise identity documents, or your full card number. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on Arnis.io servers.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, generate the selected Minecraft world, show job progress, make completed downloads available, process checkout or refunds when payment is enabled, prevent abuse or fraud, secure and debug the service, measure reliability, and answer support or privacy requests. We do not use your generated world data for advertising profiling.
Legal basis for EU and UK users
For users in the EEA or UK, we process personal data under the legal bases that fit the activity: contract necessity to provide generation, checkout, downloads, and support; legitimate interests to secure the service, prevent abuse, debug failures, and improve reliability; legal obligations for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute records; and consent where the law requires consent, such as for optional cookies or optional communications.
Payments, downloads, and service providers
We share information only as needed to run Arnis.io. Payment processors such as Stripe may process payment details, taxes, disputes, and refunds under their own privacy terms. If we send receipts, download notices, or support replies, an email provider may process the contact information needed for that message. Hosting, storage, monitoring, and security providers may process request logs and operational data. OpenStreetMap or Nominatim may receive search queries or map requests when you use location search or map features. These providers are expected to process data for service, security, legal, or user-directed purposes, not for our advertising.
Data retention
Generated files, map selections, and download tokens are kept only as long as needed to generate and deliver the world, operate the queue, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and manage capacity. We aim to delete generated worlds after a short delivery window unless a longer period is needed for support, security, payment disputes, legal obligations, or backups. Payment, tax, refund, and dispute records may be retained for the periods required by law or financial providers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over personal data connected to your use of Arnis.io. If you contact us and we can identify data tied to your request, we will help you access, correct, delete, or limit the use of that data where applicable. EEA and UK users may also have rights to object, request portability, withdraw consent where consent is used, or contact a data protection authority. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies, analytics, and marketing
Arnis.io is designed to avoid unnecessary tracking. We may use essential cookies, tokens, or local storage for session, checkout, download, security, or preference features. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing activity. Transactional messages may still be sent for verification, receipts, downloads, security, or support. If we ever add optional analytics or marketing features that require consent, we will ask where required.
International transfers
Arnis.io and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. When required for EEA, UK, or Swiss users, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, provider data processing terms, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Children's privacy
Arnis.io is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA or UK, without appropriate consent from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service, including encrypted transport, access controls, limited operational access, and monitoring for abuse or failures. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@arnis.io and include enough information for us to locate the relevant request, job, order, or email conversation.
